Pre-Columbian Society of Washington DC

The Pre-Columbian Society of Washington, D.C. (PCSWDC), is an educational organization dedicated to furthering knowledge and understanding of the peoples of the Americas before the time of Columbus. Founded in 1993, the Society provides a forum for the exchange of information regarding these pre-Columbian cultures between academic professionals and interested members of the public.

This year’s T-shirt features one of two drawings of fluted points recovered from Paleoindian sites in the central Rio Grande Valley. The drawing on this T-shirt is of a Clovis Point. The drawings are adapted from Figure 30 of Stephen Plog’s book Ancient Peoples of the American Southwest. The T-shirt is a soft olive green color made of 100% cotton with white images and black outline and lettering. The shirts are available in five sizes—small, medium, large, extra large, and extra, extra large.
