Join the Pre-Columbian Society of Washington D.C. for a field trip to visit archaeological and historic Rappahannock sites on Saturday, March 28th.

This day-long event will meet at 11 AM at the Rappahannock Tribal Center (5036 Indian Neck Rd, Indian Neck, VA 23148), where we will meet with individuals from the Rappahannock Indian Tribe. In the afternoon, Dr. Julia King will lead the group to Rappahannock archaeological and historic sites, including Menokin and Fones Cliffs, as mentioned in her recent monthly lecture to the Society. Please note that there will be a one-mile walk one-way along uneven terrain to access the archaeological site; wear proper attire and footwear.
